In order to make adjustments to the brackets, you will need to move
entrants up. You can move an entrant up with in the same bracket or you
may move an entrant up to the previous bracket. (If the entrant is in
the highest slot in the bracket when moved up, the entrant will be
moved to the previous bracket) If you have moved an entrant up to another
bracket, you may want to add a Bye to the bracket that is now
short an entrant. See Adding a Bye.
Step 1. On the Brackets View with the brackets unlocked,
select the entrant that you wish to move up and then click the Move Up
button as shown below.
Step 2. Review the results. Notice that in the first column AutoBracket has adjusted the number of entrants per bracket. AutoBracket will automatically adjust the output to reflect a 5-man and 3-man round robin when the brackets are printed. Is is usually desireable to add a bye to each of these types of brackets (as shown below) to make the brackets look complete when printed. See Adding A Bye
