Welcome to Lincoln Jr Hawk Wrestling Club
Mission Statement
The Lincoln Jr. Hawk Wrestling Club is an exciting program for youth in grades K - 8th who want to learn about wrestling in a fun and challenging environment. Wrestlers who participate in our club can expect to learn a variety of takedowns, pinning combinations, reversals and escapes, as well as to increase their strength, endurance, flexibility and self-confidence. Our coaches promote the CORE VALUES of Caring, Respect, Honesty, and Responsibility.
We want our wrestlers to Care for their teammates, family and community, showing Respect for others at all times no matter where they may find themselves (e.g., home, classroom, wrestling room, playground). We expect our wrestlers to be Honest and to complete the Responsibilities set forth by their parents and teachers without complaint. Wrestlers need to understand that participation in the Lincoln Jr. Hawk Wrestling Club is a privilege that is earned only after the demands of family, school and community are met first. To expect less will insure the failure of our wrestlers before they ever step foot on the mat.
